Glenelg, You Absolutely Blew Us Away — Our Beachside Store is Officially Open!
We’re still on cloud nine after the launch of our newest Yo-Bar store right in the heart of Glenelg. What a weekend! From the moment we opened our doors, the response was absolutely overwhelming — in the best way possible.
Over 300 people lined up down Jetty Road to get their first taste of Yo-Bar Glenelg, with some of you legends waiting over three hours just to swirl, top, and drizzle your dream bowl. The energy on the street was next level — so much so that Channel 7 News popped in to check out the action and captured the buzzing crowd and all the excitement inside the store.
Excellent location, the fruits look fresh and taste good, the staff is very nice, especially Julia, very friendly and smiling.
To keep the party vibes going, we kicked things off with a live DJ set by JW Beats, and it was a massive hit! Music was pumping, froyo was flowing, and the entire street felt alive with energy. We also celebrated the grand opening with a huge giveaway of 100 free bowls to the first lucky visitors — and let’s just say, you all turned up early to secure those freebies!
And for the first time ever, we launched a brand-new addition to the Yo-Bar experience: our water tap station, offering free, filtered water in-store! Now you can stay refreshed between bites (or swirls), and it’s perfect for those warm beach days when you need something cool and hydrating alongside your froyo.

For those just meeting us — Yo-Bar started in Melbourne in 2023. Our very first store opened in Bentleigh, a little local strip that gave us a big start thanks to our incredible community. Since then, we’ve expanded rapidly, opening stores in St Kilda, Camberwell, Collingwood, and then our biggest location inside Chadstone Shopping Centre. It’s been a wild ride, and every step of the journey has been driven by our love of good vibes, great yoghurt, and bringing people together.
When we looked to expand interstate, Adelaide was top of the list. The city’s laid-back atmosphere and supportive local communities made it a perfect fit. We first opened on Rundle Street, smack bang in the CBD, and now we’re thrilled to have brought Yo-Bar to one of SA’s most iconic beachside spots — Glenelg.
This store is all about connection, customisation, and community. With plenty of seating, a buzzing location, and our full self-serve experience — including our famous sauce taps and over 60 toppings — Glenelg is the perfect place to swirl your own masterpiece. From fruity and fresh to decadent and indulgent, you can truly make it your way.
Our frozen yoghurt is made from high-quality Australian cow’s milk, and our acai is one of the most premium blends on the market — with less sugar and more flavour. We’re serious about keeping it delicious and always up to your standards.

Opening day at Glenelg was more than just a launch — it was a celebration of how far we’ve come and the incredible communities that keep us going.
