2025 Was a Big Year for Yo-Bar Australia

2025 marked a defining chapter for Yo-Bar Australia. A year driven by growth, creativity and genuine community connection. From major store milestones to standout collaborations and product innovation, this year shaped who we are and where we are heading next.

Here is a snapshot of everything we built together.

Store Openings and National Expansion

This year saw Yo-Bar continue its momentum across Australia, welcoming new communities and expanding beyond Victoria.

We proudly opened Fountain Gate in Narre Warren, VIC, and celebrated our first interstate locations in both South Australia and Queensland. New stores launched on Rundle Street, Jetty Road Glenelg and Gouger Street in Adelaide, followed by our Chermside flagship in Brisbane.

Chermside marked a huge milestone as our 10th store, celebrated with 300 free bowls, limited-edition Yo-Bar tote bags and stickers, plus major prize giveaways. Each opening became more than just a store launch. It became a shared moment with the local community.

Collaborations and Brand Partnerships

Collaboration continued to be a core part of the Yo-Bar experience in 2025.

Highlights included a Christmas flavour collaboration with Bath & Body Works featuring Twisted Peppermint, the Caramelia Cookie Dough launch with The Cookie Dough Co, and Mother’s Day and fragrance giveaways with smooch.body. We also ran a national giveaway with Allkinds and partnered with over 20 brands across our opening events.

From LSKD and Mermade Hair to Sir Sour, The Cake Club and All Fenix, each collaboration added something unique to the Yo-Bar story. We also brought our brand to life through video collaborations with Olivia Jean and KOOKAÏ.

Product Innovation and Menu Launches

Innovation stayed front and centre throughout the year, with menu launches designed to surprise, excite and keep customers coming back.

Our range expanded with new fro-yo flavours including Lychee, Maqui, Coconut, Matcha, Bubblegum, Passionfruit and White Chocolate. Alongside these, limited and seasonal drops such as Caramel Slice and Marshmallow added a sense of urgency and discovery in-store.

One standout launch defined the year. Our Dubai Pistachio filling went viral almost instantly, capturing 2.3 million views on its launch post and sending social media into a frenzy. The response was unmatched, with customers lining up, stores repeatedly selling out and the flavour continuing to be one of Yo-Bar’s best sellers long after launch. Demand remains so high that it consistently runs out of stock, cementing it as a cult favourite across the network.

We also introduced middle swirls, including Top Deck and Matcha White Chocolate, adding a new level of customisation and creativity to every bowl.

Every launch gave customers a fresh reason to return, experiment and make it their way.

Promotions, Giveaways and Community Moments

2025 was filled with moments designed to reward loyalty and celebrate our community.

We ran 30K, 40K and 50k follower giveaways, Easter promotions featuring Cadbury Mini Eggs, and nationwide Mother’s Day and Father’s Day offers for members. One of our most viral campaigns, Lucky Letter, made its return, alongside our second birthday celebrations with Buy One Get One Free bowls and custom birthday toppings.

Social Media and Brand Reach

Our digital community continued to grow at pace.

In 2025, Yo-Bar surpassed 50K followers on Instagram and 20K on TikTok. Our most viral video reached an incredible 5 million views. Content leaned into authenticity, humour and real moments, reflecting the energy of our stores and the people behind them.

Looking Ahead

2025 laid strong foundations for Yo-Bar’s next phase. Nationally, creatively and operationally.

To our store teams, collaborators, partners and customers, thank you for showing up, lining up, sharing content and supporting a brand built on fun, quality and connection.

On to 2026 💜
